HYT fake, the so-called “Hydro Mechanical Horologists”, introduced many color variations at this year’s Basel Watch Fair. Both H1 and H2 collections have been expanded with various metals, with and without coatings, for example, various colors of fluids to indicate hours. The following are the two models we introduced on Monochrome-watches.com: H1’Iceberg’, a variant of H1 that uses a combination of white and ice blue, which is the coolest version in the H1 series; and HYT H2 Titanium & White Gold , This may be the best-looking new work in the entire HYT series.
The new HYT H1 Iceberg adopts a similar color scheme for the already well-known technical “dial” and case of the HYT H1. As HYT said in the press release: “The azure liquid complements the complexity of the machinery, while adding a touch of lightness and freshness.”
Case: Titanium with brushed, shot-blasted and satin-finished surface; diameter = 48.8 mm; thickness = 17.9 mm; blue rubber-covered screw-lock crown; titanium crown guard; titanium at 6 o’clock Metal dome; curved sapphire crystal glass with no reflective coating on the inside; screw-in sapphire back; water resistance to 100 meters
Function: retrograde blue fluid hour; minute, second
Movement: mechanical hand winding, exclusive HYT movement; 28,800 vph (4 Hz); 35 jewels; hand-chamfered bridges decorated with Geneva waves; rhodium-plated bellows; 65-hour power reserve
Strap: white rubber, black adhesive crocodile leather is also available; titanium pin buckle.
The “dial” uses a high-tech gorgeous display, including gears, levers, bridges and a beautiful balance fixed by a very elegant and strong balance bridge. Of course, the iconic bellows and antenna, cam and piston systems also show the beauty of technology. All new HYT timepieces are equipped with temperature change compensators. This means that all HYT watches, including models H1 and H2, will always display the correct time, indicating the hour through the central minute hand and through the liquid-filled tube. The blue liquid and white metal in the hour indicator tube has some incredibly “flattering”.
HYT H2 provides three more functions than H1: the new functions are power reserve indicator, temperature indicator and “HNR” indicator. The latter is connected to the crown and tells the wearer where the crown is. H is used to set the time, N is used for neutral, and R is used for winding (remonter in French).
Case: Titanium and white gold, micro-sandblasting; diameter = 48.8 mm; thickness = 17.9 mm; dome sapphire crystal with non-reflective coating (box); screw-in sapphire case back; water resistance to 50 meters
Movement: Exclusive HYT manual winding movement; 21,600 vph (3 Hz), 28 jewels, 192 hours (8 days) power reserve; titanium bridge
Functions: Retrograde blue fluid hours; minutes of skipping hands at 30 minutes; crown position indicator (HNR); temperature indicator
