BREMONT JAGUAR E-TYPE 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Review

It has been 60 years since the launch of the first Jaguar E-Type sports car at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961 and celebrating its historic unveiling. Jaguar Classic has joined forces with British watch manufacturer Bremont to launch the unique Bremont Jaguar E -Type 60th anniversary limited edition set. In addition to one of two different limited-edition Bremont watches, the package will also include Bremont’s first-ever rally timer and a unique E-Type driving experience hosted by Jaguar Classic.

Relying on the co-inspiration of precision, performance and beauty, Bremont and Jaguar have established a partnership since 2010, marking the release of Bremont’s exclusive analog dashboard clock designed to celebrate the Jaguar C-X75. Over the years, Bremont’s Jaguar watch product portfolio has increased tenfold, including various MKI and MKII models as well as an amazing limited edition Bremont D-Type watch. At the same time, the new Bremont Jaguar E-Type 60th Anniversary Limited Edition offers two special designs with the same colors as the original 9600 HP Coupe and 77 RW Roadster E-Type that were unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961. Bremont Jaguar E-Type 60th Anniversary Limited Edition is 42 mm in diameter and 16.4 mm in width. It uses the brand’s famous Trip Tick case structure, made of polished stainless steel, with a scratch-resistant DLC-treated case barrel and 200 meters Waterproof rating. The center stage of the design is the two-way rotating aluminum bezel, the color of which is “Flat Out Grey” or “Drop Everything Green” to commemorate the two original Jaguar E-Type cars produced in 1961. The improved movement based on the trusted ETA 7750 provides 25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 38 hours. On the front of the dial, the movement has hour, minute and chronograph seconds, a small seconds at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute chronograph at 3 o’clock, and a date window at 6 o’clock.

Both Bremont Jaguar E-Type 60th Anniversary Limited Edition watches use classic black metal dials, inspired by the E-Types dashboard. On the circumference, white Arabic numerals indicate the hours, while the railway minute track runs from 8 o’clock to 4 o’clock to reflect the same outline of the instruments on the Jaguar dashboard.
